Inspiring and insightful

Dr. Barrett will challenge you to think of the 10 commandments in a way that you've never thought before. I always thought of them as something for Old Testament Jews, however, after reading his book it has changed the way I now think of them! God gave these timeless instructions to Moses 5000 years ago but they are every bit as relevant today as they were then. Barrett's life stories from running his own practice for so many years as well as his own families examples showed me so many practical examples as to why God's way is infinitely better than our way. The book will also challenge you to think of God in a much deeper way than you ever have before! I highly recommend reading this book.

Excellent, Enjoyable Read

This book does exactly what it says: it uses the life experiences of a well-established and deeply connected family doctor who has spent much of his life practicing medicine and partaking in Christian works first hand that have combined to give him a unique perspective that is both enlightening and enjoyable.

Honest and true

Dr. Barrett has being serving the HB community as a doctor and has a strong desire to serve in greater capacities. He shares his faith openly and honestly by example and by words. This book is a true testimony to who he is and his passion to share Christ in a real and accessible way. Those who want a stronger faith along with those who are wondering about God, both will learn from the study of the Ten Commandments presented in this book. It is easy to read and relates to everyone.
