Exceptionally Clear

Each section is fairly bite-sized. Each section gives pretty clear detail on how/why a particular theorem holds. Each section has problems which illuminate the theorems in the related section. The overall balance of topics is clear. The text is nicely focused on the math for the sake of the math...not very applied. This slightly "pure" approach may be disconcerting for folks without "mathematical maturity". Usually that phrase is short hand for "fill in the blanks which the author did not", but in this case it simply means that you have to think of math within the domain of math, not as a tool to solve a particular applied problem.

This book is terrible! It provides too few examples and does not explain the subject matter in detail. The problems are difficult to solve simply by reading the book, which contains inadequate information and insight. Beginners will struggle without outside help such as a professor, teaching assistant, etc.
This is possibly one of the worst math books I have read and there is plenty of literature that can explain the same topics in a more clear, detailed manner with sufficient examples. Simply go to your local library.
