This is a good book for getting familiar with techniques for data manipulation and math with VB. I used it pretty extensively a few years ago for a project, it's been on the shelf since then. Check this book out if you're in need of a good, quick reference for VB and VB.net with an emphasis on scientific or engineering applications and calculations.
